Distinguished Professor of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of California, Santa Cruz with a PhD in Physics. He has recently "pivoted" into ocean sciences to apply his decades of expertise in astronomical spectroscopy to ocean color analysis.
He has published over 500 refereed papers, received >$20M of federal grants and was PI of an NSF/MRI-funded research to design and install a deployable mirror on the Keck I Telescope. He is a frequent user of the NSF Nautilus platform.
Alejandro Terrazas, PhD

An expert on remote sensing, computer vision, and statistical modeling. He earned his PhD in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Arizona and has been funded by the NSF, the NIH, and DARPA.
He was Senior Vice President of Advanced R&D at the Nielsen Company and has been awarded 24 patents in the area of geospatial data science and computer vision.
Tim Handley

Tim Handley is a serial entrepreneur who started two companies with market caps of over $25 million. He has received honors including being an economic advisor to Florida Governor Jeb Bush and was inducted into the Inc Magazine 500 Hall of Fame.
Tim founded FlyGuys, a drone services company. He was the first pilot at FlyGuys, flying missions across multiple industries. FlyGuys provides photogrammetry and volumetric data acquisition. The company engages in specialized data processing services of those data.
Tim has significant experience in the drone services industry including hardware, flight control systems, and FAA airspace regulations. He is also a private pilot and a part 107 certified drone pilot.
